It’s spending weekends at local parks or strolling main streets like Haddonfield and Moorestown, having seamless access to Philly for work or dinner, hitting the Jersey Shore in under an hour, or enjoying the open space and farmland out in Salem County. That’s the stuff that changes how a place feels to live in. So yes, I get the criticism. I just think what you get in return - space, community, and unbeatable location - matters so much more. I get why Philadelphia gets all the attention, but there are a few things about life here that are really hard to beat. 😉 For me, it’s being close to Route 42/55 for easy commuting, getting more space (hello, actual backyard) without giving up great coffee and local spots nearby, and the fact that your Saturdays can be for brunch, wineries, errands, and a quick Target run… not sitting in city traffic. Philadelphia absolutely is amazing, but this is where I’d put my money. Spend enough time in South Jersey and you start to understand why people are so loyal to it.
